If you’re looking for fine food with a local flavour, Tassili at the Grand Jersey should be high on your list. Head Chef Nicolas Valmagna combines fresh Jersey produce with a nod to his French heritage. Nicolas Valmagna was appointed in early 2015, and has experience working under Raymond Blanc.
For British specialties, Ocean at The Atlantic Hotel is globally renowned, having held its Michelin star for 9 consecutive years. Despite its name, Ocean has an incredibly diverse selection of dishes, including varied vegetarian options and a 7 course tasting menu.
Fine Dining at Bohemia
Bohemia is a Michelin starred venue in St Helier itself, and specialises in tasting menus and a wide choice of wines. It was featured in the 2014 Good Food Guide as the top restaurant on the island.
Shaun Rankin recently went from Bohemia to open his own restaurant Ormer, also a Michelin star restaurant. Ormer boasts sumptuous interiors, as well as a tree-lined roof garden, a private dining room and a humidor that will excite cigar connoisseurs.

Family-Friendly Fine Dining in Jersey
If you’re dining out with children, Longueville Manor offers a welcoming atmosphere for the whole family. Fine yet casual, Andrew Baird’s menu indulges heavily in the restaurant’s own home grown produce, while the venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
On the south of the island, to the west of St Helier, you’ll find Mark Jordan at The Beach, an ideal venue for relaxed fine dining in Jersey. This restaurant holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand in recognition of high quality food at reasonable prices. You can expect three courses to cost less than £28 here.
Further west, there’s the Oyster Box, which boasts fish in abundance; the selection changes according to the daily catch. It also has its own children’s menu. Meanwhile, Sirocco at the Royal Yacht continues the nautical theme, and offers both wine tasting and cocktail-making lessons.
