What does Entitled mean ?
An Entitled resident can work anywhere and does not need a licence to be employed.
The “Entitled” category is attributed to those who are Jersey born and have reached the required aggregate residency period as well as to those who have lived in Jersey for 10 years or more.
This category now also applies to High Net Worth Individuals who qualify for residence in Jersey by virtue of their financial and social contribution to the island [formerly known as 1 (1)(k) residents, now known as regulation 2(1)(e)].
